The world in a slice of tomato. I’ve had this picture sitting on my computer desktop for a while now, but I think I originally downloaded it from the website of the Order of Julian of Norwich, a monastery in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
My dog Henry in the snow. You can’t see his eyes, which is too bad, because he has beautiful, soulful eyes. When he looks at you, it’s immediately obvious that he’s really a human being trapped in a dog’s body. But since he is trapped in a dog’s body, he just can’t help himself. He loves snow.
The woods in a region near Norwich, England. This photo was taken by a friend who I “met” on Facebook, who lives there. I’m writing about fourteenth century Norwich, so this image has been important for me. It’s beautiful, is it not?
